Creatures: Murgatranthes
Murgatranthes (shortform Tranthus) is a demon of thunder and ice. She has (oh god) a Twitter account.
Don't call her Mur, Murg, Murgy, etc., she hates that. Murgatranthes usually uses female pronouns when communicating with humans, but as all human gendered pronouns apply equally wrongly she doesn't mind being called male or neutrois ones; it's all the same to her.
Tranthus isn't much of a threat to humans. She wouldn't bother to hurt you unless ordered to by a superior demon or a summoner, and would probably just disdainfully ignore you. She wouldn't lie to you just for lying's sake; only if it was funny.
Murgatranthes isn't an ideal choice for a demon-summoner. She's not that difficult to summon, and has strong thunder magic to offer. However, she's quite easy to startle or excite and gets bored easily, which can be taxing on a summoner's patience. She completes contracts to an unremarkable standard; performing the minimum amount of work needed to satisfy. You can't complain, but you won't find cause to recommend her either.
Her horns, hoofs, claws and black spikes are utterly matt, like a void, and reflect no light (unless wet, polished, or otherwise coated with something reflective).
Her darkest parts (tail, spine, ears, throat, neck, inner ventral marking, lower anterior wing) are disconcertingly soft to the touch, as though the skin hasn't finished forming. It's quite unnerving to feel, because you can't help but be reminded of exposed tendons or connective tissue and wonder if you're hurting Murgatranthes. You're not; the skin is no more sensitive than anywhere else.
The yellow ventral spikes can flare outwards, usually when Murgatranthes is casting magic. They can't really be used for grasping or clasping; they're not teeth, so there's nowhere for anything to be pulled into. The lowermost and biggest spike is static, and able to glow yellow.
